So, here I am, sitting in a lamplit room. Yule is approaching, and the breathtaking nip of winter is in the air. Although I’ve been crazy busy with all my uni work, I do try to take time out to take note of the changes in nature, the indicators of the season. I like the way the cold bites my nose when I leave the house in the morning, and the way that heat soaks into my skin when I come into a warm room from being outside in the cold.
I like the way that hot drinks and hot chocolate become a need rather than an indulgence. I love the way that frost sparkles on the trees. I love winter.
